This weekend our focus is on Towards Zero.

Unfortunately there are too many of us that have had a mother, father, brother, sister, child or best mate that never made it home.

As a Club, and a community, we have a responsibility to ensure that our players, members and volunteers make the right decisions so that everyone makes it home.

At each of our upcoming functions and home games, our Club will have a courtesy bus available for those who want a lift home. Everyone of us need to do our part to make zero deaths and serious injuries on our roads a reality.

To show our Club’s support, our Senior Captain, Nick Mende, will be wearing Zero on his jumper and our Netballers will be wearing Toward Zero socks.

Our Netballers, Reserves and Seniors are playing at Cranbourne tomorrow and it would be great to see as many of our supporters there, cheering them on.

After the Seniors game, our players and supporters are heading back for dinner at the Grand Hotel Healesville.

Our Women’s team are taking on Upwey at home on Sunday at 2.00pm. This is the second last game before the finals series and our women are sitting undefeated on top of the ladder, focused on making it through to the Grand Final and bringing home the Premiership.

NEXT WEEKEND

Congratulations  to our Vets who have made it to their third consecutive Grand Final!

Our guys will take on Gembrook-Cockatoo after Gembrook went into overtime against Mt Evelyn and eventually won by 1 point.

Our ground was selected as the venue for the Grand Final, and we need as many of our Bloods Family there to cheer them on and give them the home town advantage.

Our Netballers, Reserves and Seniors are playing Woori Yallock earlier in the day at home, with the Grand Final game starting at 6.30pm. It will be a massive day for our volunteers so if anyone can help with the bar or canteen during the Vet’s Grand Final, please let Greg or Beck know (or comment below).
