WEEKEND WRAP UP

This week’s wrap up is a bit late (sorry to all our followers).

What a weekend! There were wins and losses, broken bones and a convoy over the Spur.

Our Women’s team started the round with the top of the table clash against Monbulk. Our women got the win at home after the game ended early with one of our opponents breaking their ankle late in the last quarter. We wish them a speedy recovery and hope to see them out on the field again soon.

We then headed over to Woori for the annual Indigenous Round.

Congratulations to our Reserves for getting their first win of the season! Congratulations also goes to our C & D Grade Netballers for winning their respective matches.

Unfortunately things didn’t go our way for the Seniors, although our guys gave 100% and never gave up!

Our Vets took the road and travelled to Marysville for their match on Sunday. While our Vets got the win, the most surprising factor of the day was Luke Barclay laying the softest tackle in his playing career!

THURSDAY NIGHT DINNER

The team in the kitchen are cooking delicious hamburgers for tonight’s dinner.

We also (hopefully) have our special guest joining us tonight so get ready for some laughs!

Joker Poker is up to $1,700 this week – surely it has to go off soon?! Make sure you get your ticket for a shot at the Joker.

GAMES THIS WEEKEND

We’re back at home this weekend with our Netballers, Reserves and Seniors taking on Beaconsfield. Let’s try and get as many supporters there cheering our players on!

Our Women’s and Vets teams have a break this weekend.

SPONSORS

This week we want to thank the following sponsors for supporting us again this season:

- BMH Roof Worx
- Hoogies of Yarra Glen
- Breen Printing
- Cindy McLeish MP

Our sponsors make it possible for us to field 4 football teams and 5 netball teams so let’s support them wherever we can and shop local first.

Go Bloods!
